I'm glad you heard my words the way I meant them. -- Muddy Waters
Yes, I did!
THANKS.
because someone needs my help.. as a jw -- you can relate -- i truly believed that what everyone really needed was the kingdom hope and its eventual reality.
you know, the hope that does not lead to disappointment.
of course, if anyone needed practical help with a task or getting through some difficulty, most of us realized that was part of being a helpful and caring friend (or family member).. at nearly seventy years of age -- no, i didn't enter the promised kingdom in my healthful and vibrant youth -- my getting out of bed isn't so bad.

since i don't have you,i conjure up an image thatis both real and ideal.. what i do recall is etched in sharp relief, but deeply, in dark caverns of my mind.. the heart is a better well of reminiscence as it draws upan intangible but true past.. a newfound, tranquil corner inme reassures that love, thoughgone missing, is never lost..
Yes, Muddy Waters, losing a parent -- or both! -- is difficult. My sister was with Mom when she died. I was with Dad at his passing. I wish they were here again. So much to catch up on, so many questions to ask.
Those questions, sadly, will remain unanswered.
Till the next time, Dear.

Greetings, Diogenesister, LV101, and Muddy Waters:
Wishing you all a wonderful day, knowing that our our acts of kindness, whether random or planned out in advance, will affect others for the good.
May you have peace.

Thank you, Muddy Waters and LV101, for your noting of certain parallels between what the poem expresses and what we experience in real life. You both understand how I feel about input, and yours is very helpful to me, on all levels.
Love to you and yours.

Since I don't have you,
I conjure up an image that
is both real and ideal.
What I do recall is etched
in sharp relief, but deeply,
in dark caverns of my mind.
The heart is a better well of
reminiscence as it draws up
an intangible but true past.
A newfound, tranquil corner in
me reassures that love, though
gone missing, is never lost.
i have a 'financial advisor' email tell of massive changes coming to us (and thereby world currencies) on the above date.. does 13-dec 2017 mean anything to anyone.?.
he is talking about the removal of cash etc now if this is half way correct where does it leave the money machine of the wt?.
positive responses welcome..
I'm uncertain this relates precisely to the situation highlighted above; however, in the last month I have received two emails, each ostensibly from two different US-based financial institutions. Each bank informed me of several thousand dollars held in "your account." I was asked to provide required information in order to have funds transferred.
Giveaway? Bad grammar, misspelled words, cheesy formatting, etc.

What lovely posts, Xanthippe and LV101! How wonderful it was to wake up to your beautiful and encouraging comments.
I'm up and about, having a bracing cuppa joe and preparing for the onslaught -- feeding a cat and a Guinea pig and mucking out a house left rather untidy by guests of the owner.
Then, this evening, I will receive a hands-on tutorial for the care and feeding of five cats and one dog. Oh, dinner for me is thrown in with the wonderful couple who are owned by the six-critter menagerie. Of course, I am paid for my services.
All in a day's work. Yes, even on Sunday some of us work!!!
Blessings, mes amies!
i have a memory of some rock artist of the 60s placing a pic of herself and some guy in bed and her reading an awake magazine on the back cover.
it could have been "is time running out for mankind" or something like that.
anyone remember?

You're welcome, scratchme1010, and thank you for that reminder.
All of us need to remember that, like a meal, it's not just the content but also the presentation.
Have a great day.

I am grateful for your replies, Alive! and sparrowdown. They mean so much.
Appreciation; it costs nothing folks but it can pull someone back from the brink. -- sparrowdown
